The experience starts here! Mon: Flight to Philadelphia.
Tues: Visit Intercourse PA, centr of the Amish area. See the audia visual "Amish Experience". Visit a number of the fabric shops.
Wed: Visit an Amish womans quilt shop. Spend a few hours in historic Strasburg and ride on the Steam Railway. Visit Rockvale Outlet Mall.
Thur: "Quilters Heritage Celebration" - a national quilt show with 3 halls of quilts and up to 70 workshops to choose from. Seminars, Fashion Shows, Luncheons and lots lots more.
Fri: Another day at the Quilt Show.
Sat: A rest day? or maybe visit the show again!!
Sun: Brunch at the Eden Courtyard - experience the American way of eating! Afternoon visit to Landi Valley Farm Musuem.
Mon: Visit 2 fabric shops - each one bigger than the last! On to the town of Lititz and Kready's Country Store and the Pennsylvania Quilt Museum.
Tues: Tour "Wheatland" the home of James Buchanan - the 15th President of the USA. On to Lancaster town for lunch follwed by a guided tour of Amish farmlands ending with dinner with an Amish family in their farmhouse. Not to be missed!!
Wed: Our last day, morning visit to the town of Bird in the Hand and Intercourse - last chance to shop!! And then on to the airport for our evening flight back to London.
